I have a 94 coupe w/ 25K miles.  The steering has a loose feel when the car is driving straight.  At higher speeds it gets better.  The steering  feel is very crisp on turns.  I understand these models had a problem w/ the pinion bearing?  All the steering linkages/ tie rod ends seem fine.  Any suggestions on what the problem could be?

Wanders a bit does she? If you have a slightly aggressive alignment you can get some tramlining. My car does the same thing but it fantastic in the turns. You can set the castor to make the wheels "bite" more when going straight, but at some cost when in the twisties. At first I hated the tramlining - now I just pay attention to what's in front of and beside me ....
