968.net

As if it wasn’t enough that this car has super low mileage (18K), a 6 speed, and offered at a fair price it is also one unique 968. It is loaded with options and good ones, dual full power seats, dual heated seats, headlight washers, limited slip, body side molding, factory CD with hi-fi sound, and 17” wheels. It is colored in the popular polar silver and topped with a dark blue cab top. But what really sets this 968 apart is the interior. It has the extremely rare special order Provence blue/midnight blue full leather interior as well as the supple leather option. It is the ONLY North American 968 cab produced with this interior (there was also 1 coupe). It is very cool. The car had a sticker of over $63K when new thanks to all those options and this $5000 interior. Someone grab it. I would if I had the room.

Malcom W.,
Another gentlemen who is looking at this car found out the same as you but he looked closer. Yes, there was a new title issued in 2003 but that was because the original owner got married and added his wife as an owner which caused a new title to be issued. What is the issue with the car not being authentic?
Jeff
I was given a completely different story regarding the title. I'm a true collector of special cars and this one doesn't add up for me. I think this will be a fun car for someone who doesn't care about its history. Enjoy!
Malcolm: What did you find out from dealer? Thanks, Mike
The other interested purchaser has copies of the titles, 1 with just the original owner and another with the original owner and is wife. I've heard Carfax can be a real problem with examples like this. I'm still curious to know what you think is not authentic about the car. Maybe I'm missing something???
Jeff
rxter - thank you for sharing the pic of your black 968. I believe you have the nicest one on the planet! If ever you decide to sell, I'm here. Please keep taking great care of her. Cheers! MW
Well thanks, but if you want to see some really special 968s you need to make a trip to the left coast. Some of the finest examples you'll see anywhere.
