trunk lid lock
First entry in about five years, good to be back. I want to remove my trunk lid key micro switch but i'am not sure what is holding it? It seems very tight. Anybody do this?

I removed mine. Very simple. There is a small thin metal bracket or clip that holds it in place. Just get a small flat head screw driver and push the clips off the microswitch plastic tabs that the clips hook to. Are you replacing the microswitch? I'm trying to get me one. What do they cost new?

Merdawg968, Thanks for the info. I'am going to try to clean it first . If that does not work then i'll replace it. keep me informed on what you find out.

Found out the cost. It is about $28. Dealer price of course.
