Starter acting up

Cold starting is fine but after the engine is warmed up (45-60 mins or more) when I go to start
the car half the time I am meet with with the starter not engaging (just a click, then drop out. This will happen 3 or for times but eventually the starter engages and starts. Any suggestions, starter going??? Thanks Rod
