Jack Points & Jack Stand Locations

From what I have been reading there seems to be a lot of disagreement on jacking points and placement of jack stands on the 968.  The biggest disagreement seems to be on placement of the jack stands under the main frame rails as they say regular jack stands can dent or bend the frame rails if the car is left on the jack stand for any extended period of time.  I have even see frame rail jack stand support that are sold to try and prevent damage to the frame rails. Any thoughts or suggestions for safe jacking points and locations for jack stands appreciated!
