Hershey Swap Meet Saturday, April 20, 2013
The Central PA Region of PCA is again hosting the Porsche Only Swap Meet in Hershey, Pa on Sat, Apr 20, 2013. More info at www.cpa-pca.org/swap/
This year, the AACA Museum is hosting the "Porsche Style and Design" exhibit, which began Jan 21st and will run through the end of the Swap Meet. There are currently about 20 rare Porsches on display in the Museum, including a 1994 Red Coupe with less than 15k on the odometer, plus lots of 968 and Porsche memorabilia.
On Fri, Apr 19, 2013, the Museum will also host a special Porsche function with guest speaker Karl Ludvigsen, famed Porsche Author, and this event will kick off the Swap Meet, starting the following day. More info and how to purchase tickets to the event, can be found at www.aacamuseum.org

Feedback from the two events:
- Presentation and Book Signing by Karl Ludvigsen on Friday, April 19 was very interesting and I have more respect for the 356 and Porsche's early days. There were 220 attendees who braved a thunder-boomer to eat and drink German food and beer and get their Porsche books signed by Karl. Did not see Jerry Seinfeld at the event though.
- Swap Meet on Saturday, April 20 was great and I again worked at the Concours. With my knee problem, I was unable to park cars like I normally do but I did get to see many 968 friends from the past - Cosimo (who has attended every Swap Meet since 2001), Jeff C., Raj D, Paige & Emmy Lou T, Ginger & Charlie S. and others. Thanks to the 7 968s who attended and special thanks to the two 968er's who donated to the Hershey Children's hospital - one of them (Rap) won 2nd place in the 924-944-968-928 category.
